Beautifully Mysterious, 2012
by Logan (Enterprise, Alabama)

My students were so excited about making their own assemblages. We discussed Joseph Cornell's life, his work, and his ideas. They were told to make an assemblage that established a certain idea in the viewer's mind. I left it open-ended so their personality, ability, and creativity would shine through.

My students range from eight to thirteen years old. I work at All About Art in Enterprise, AL. Many public schools do not provide art classes so parents sign their children up for classes at our store.

Thank you for taking the time to view their pieces. They are so proud and learned a unique form of art through the art of Joseph Cornell.
